AAA is gathering information to celebrate Anatomy By the Decade and the Many Faces of Anatomy on the occasion of our 125th Anniversary Annual Meeting in Boston, April 20-24, 2013.
To help us celebrate 125 wonderful and productive years, we ask you to please take some time to look at these photos. In these pictures, you will see leaders, pioneers, and anatomical science innovators from our shared past. We need your help to identify them. Here's how:
Go to "125 Photo Identification" at the top, center of this page and choose "View All Photos Here!" or just click here.
Click the photo on the resulting page to open the entire gallery.
To view a larger version of the thumbnail image you see, click inside the desired photo.
If you recognize someone in the photo or can give us more information about the photo such as where it was taken, please click "Add" in the top, right toolbar to add a comment.
There are lots of photos, so you may want to come back to this from time to time and challenge yourself to provide additional identifications or confirm suggestions left by other members.
Together we can honor our past and work toward 125 amazing more years. To learn more about our 125th Anniversary celebrations, please visit: http://www.anatomy.org/meetings/125-projects.
****Please note - AAA is aware that not all of the photos originated with AAA. Some photos in the gallery, for example, are clearly from a specific institution. In addition, some photos are already labeled even if the label has become a little difficult to read due to age. ****
